Wisdom Global School organized a workshop on “Good touch and Bad touch” on 16th February, 2019, conducted by Ms Rashmi Tomar and Ms Neetu for Grade I to IV and Ms Deepshikha Bansal for Grade V to VIII. All students actively participated in the engaging workshop where they were taught about their “Safe zones”. Coordinators, with the help of numerous videos, pictures, character play etc. explained the students how to differentiate and identify “bad touch” or other “uncomfortable behavior” from others. They were also given instructions on how should one react or respond in an uncomfortable situation and were made aware about Child Helpline & POCSO Act. At the end of the session each child had to answer a questionnaire to review their understanding.
It was a great initiative and a step further to spread awareness about ‘Good and Bad Touch’ one of the most sensitive issues in today’s time for children to understand the prevailing truth and essential guidelines to deal with the same, thus making themselves future ready.
